There are games that attract our attention not by the richness of graphics or the coolness of the interface, but on the contrary - by simplicity and clarity. In times when there is nothing to do (like now , why not devote a few weeks of hours of life to one of these games?
Neverball is a unique 3D mix of pinball , billiards shopify website design and other similar ball games (including " that very " toy). The goal is to use a moving ball to collect, in a certain amount of time, the maximum number of coins scattered in different parts of the playing field and have time to "roll" to the final point.
The matter is complicated by the fact that the ball cannot be actually controlled, and the direction and speed of its movement is determined by the slope of the playing field. The playing field can be controlled using mouse movements or arrow keys (?, ?, ?, ?) on the keyboard.
There are six levels of the game, each of which contains a couple of dozen different platforms. Each subsequent platform opens only after the previous one is completed. The platform is considered completed after the required number of coins is collected. The coins themselves come in three colors - yellow, red and blue. For a "removed" yellow coin, you get 1 point, for a red one - 5, for a blue one - 10. After collecting 100 coins, the player is given an extra life.
There are three ball tracking modes in the game. Pressing F2 switches on the "Lazy Camera" mode. In this case, the camera's reaction becomes slower. Pressing F3 switches on the "Manual Camera" - the camera will rotate only when the corresponding buttons are pressed (by default, these are the right and left mouse buttons). Pressing F1 returns the camera to the standard mode.
All games in which a positive result was achieved (all coins were collected, or the ball reached the final point) can be saved and then viewed again. In total, up to 64 games can be saved.
Separately, it is necessary to mention the graphics of Neverball. It certainly does not amaze minds, but it is quite decent. As confirmation of this, you can watch a video with the passage of some of the more difficult levels of the game:
Here you could provide links to the Neverball game installer and its home site, but you will find them below. Because first there will be…
After installing the Neverball game, I found not one shortcut on my desktop (as expected), but two! The second one, as it turned out, belongs to another ball game - the mini-golf simulator Neverputt . The game is created on the engine and with basic physics, but the graphics are less impressive. The advantages include the ability to play with two, three or even four people.
